Cody Rhodes has suffered multiple injuries after receiving a package piledriver from Kevin Owens on Saturday Night's Main Event. The American Nightmare has reportedly been diagnosed with Axial compression of the cervical spine and a cervical strain with spasm. KO delivered a banned move for the second time in a while and became a victim of Triple H's anger.
Cody and Kevin had a match with each other for the world title on Saturday Night's Main Event. Rhodes was challenged by Kevin but the result was in his favor. The world champion delivered a Cross Rhodes and pinned KO to claim a win. It seemed like Kevin initially accepted the result and moved on.
However, as Cody celebrated his win after the show went off-air, KO came out of nowhere and attacked the world champion. KO pulled off something he did with Randy Orton. He delivered a banned move to injure Cody. Both Randy and Cody met with a banned move and were taken out on stretchers.

For Randy, KO delivered a normal piledriver. But for Cody, he went a notch higher and delivered a much more dangerous package piledriver. Both of them were banned from WWE. Cody went unconscious and had to be treated by the security guards and referees who tried their best to stop KO from making further damages.
Kevin took the title away and headed towards the locker room. Triple H did not take it well and personally came out to address the challenger. He punched Owens in the face and had a small brawl with him. Many wanted Hunter to be back in action.
Cody had to be taken off the arena through a stretcher to the ambulance. He is now reported to have been diagnosed with Axial compression of the cervical spine and a cervical strain with spasm. While there is no update on how serious the injury is, many expect him to be out of action for at least a month.
