Randy Orton had a terrible night on WWE Smackdown. The Viper showed up on the blue brand despite being taken out by Kevin Owens at Crown Jewel. He suffered a similar fate, as KO delivered him the banned move, Piledriver, which badly injured his head. Cody Rhodes came to look for Randy who was taken out of the arena through a stretcher to an ambulance.
At Crown Jewel, KO was set to take on Randy. The match did not happen as Kevin delivered a Stunner to the referee, leading to a disqualification. However, it did not stop Randy and Owens from taking on each other. They punched and exchanged blows with each other and went into the stands.

Kevin Owens uses piledriver to take out Randy Orton on WWE Smackdown
For the first time since Bad Blood, KO was allowed to be on Smackdown. He used it to his advantage and attacked Orton. KO had the advantage of being fitter than Randy Orton. Despite the interference of the security guards, a brawl took place between Randy and Kevin.
The segment ended with KO delivering a Piledriver to Randy. It is worth noting that the move was banned by WWE in the past for being too dangerous. However, KO used it to take out Orton. A stretcher was called for Randy to be carried out of the arena. Cody appeared in the scene to look how the Viper was.
It seemed like Randy was badly hurt as he was taken out on a stretcher. Cody accompanied him to the ambulance and ensured he was safely taken to the hospital. The medical reports regarding the injury are yet to be out. However, it seems like Randy might be out of action for at least a couple of weeks.
