Randy Orton delivered a series of RKOs to Nick Aldis, R Truth, Jamie Noble, and everyone else during the Main Event of WWE Backlash 2025. During his match against John Cena, the referee was unconscious and did not count the pinfall, which cost Viper his match. An enraged Randy lost his cool and attacked everyone who was in the ring.

During the match between Randy and Cena, the former had an advantage over the latter at one point after delivering him an Attitude Adjustment through the commentators' desk and table, respectively. However, the referee was unconscious as Cena took him out.

As a result, he could not count the pinfall. Orton was frustrated, and the SmackDown GM personally came to check if the referee was alright. Along with him, Aldis got some officials, who all verified if the referee was fine. Randy lost his patience and went after them.

R Truth helps John Cena to retain his title against Randy Orton at WWE Backlash 2025

Aldis tried to have a word with him. However, Orton did not listen to him and delivered an RKO. Orton did not stop there. He delivered a series of RKOs to every official in the ring. Randy later attacked Cena and prepared to deliver him a Punt kick.

Just when he was about to execute his move, R Truth popped out of nowhere and pleaded the Apex Predator not to attack John Cena. Orton was out of control and delivered an RKO to Truth, as the fans loved it.

However, the distraction helped Cena to regroup a bit. He delivered a low blow to the 14-time world champion and followed it up by hitting Randy through the title. The referee regained his consciousness and ensured Cena claimed a win via pinfall.
