Jeff Cobb made his surprising WWE debut at Backlash 2025, as he was recruited by Solo Sikoa into the Bloodline 2.0. The mighty wrestler assisted his former rival, Jacob Fatu, in his United States Championship defense against LA Knight, Drew McIntyre, and Damian Priest. Cobb was a part of Wrestling promotions like NJPW, ROH, PWG, and Lucha Underground before WWE.

As Fatu was having a tough time in his title defense, Cobb came out of nowhere and attacked Knight. As per the instructions of Solo, he helped Fatu retain his title. However, the Samoan Werewolf gave a wild look to the duo and walked out of the arena. Since then, there has been a curiosity about Cobb's past.

Cobb is popularly known for his work in NJPW. He was also a part of promotions like Lucha Underground, ROH, and PWG. He was also a part of the Summer Olympics in 2004 in the Men's 84 kg category and lost two of his matches due to technical superiority against Yoel Romero and Davyd Bichinashvili. 

Jeff Cobb's rivalry with the Bloodline members

From 2009 to 2014, Cobb had to struggle in different promotions like AZW, APW, and so on. He also got a chance for a tryout at the WWE Performance Center. From 2015 to 2019, he was a part of NJPW and PWG, where he delivered some of his best work.

In NJPW, he even had matches with the current Bloodline 2.0 members like Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. While he did help Fatu at Backlash 2025, he had a feud with him in the past, which could be revisited in WWE in the upcoming weeks.

Cobb also appeared on some episodes of AEW from 2022 to 2024 as a part of the United Empire. Cobb won the world title in many promotions like FPW, APW, AZW, BTW, PWG, and Lucha Underground. He was one of the biggest Free agents before signing a contract with WWE.
