Randy Orton gives major spoiler about his future with Cody Rhodes on Smackdown

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton had a backstage segment on Smackdown. Randy said that he would be ready to have Cody's back later in the night. The viper added that he would have Rhodes' back even after getting done with the business of the Bloodline. The Apex Predator claimed that he would have Cody's back when a lot of wrestlers come to take the title away from him.

The American Nightmare seemed to be upset for his loss at the Money in the Bank 2024. He was seated with the world title on his side. That was when Randy came and sat by the title almost like a spoiler to the future where the two would go against each other for the glory. The duo hoped to settle the deal with the Bloodline later in the night.

After getting beaten by the faction at the Money in the Bank, Randy and Cody didn't have enough support at their disposal. Kevin Owens was not in the arena as he had to take care of his ill mother. But Randy assured have Cody's back. Rhodes hoped to settle the deal with the Bloodline. Solo in his promo targeted the world champion.

15th world title on cards for Randy Orton?

It is worth wondering if Randy Orton will have the back of Cody after getting the business with the Bloodline finished. The star wrestler is as hungry as ever for the glory. He would like to regain the title which has eluded him for a long time. It means that there could be a feud between Randy and Rhodes in the future.

Not to forget, it will lead to the match between Randy and John Cena next year, which must be the blockbuster clash of 2025. It seems like Orton could betray his student for glory. WWE has teasing the same since the Clash at the Castle. One shouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be the reality.
