With the end of the latest episode on Smackdown, the Queen of the Ring tournament has come to a decisive state on both brands. Two Superstars from both Raw and Smackdown have made it to the semifinal. In the upcoming week, two matches will decide the contestants to take part in the final. From Raw, Iyo Sky and Lyra Valkyria have qualified.
From the blue brand, Bianca Belair and Nia Jax have qualified. The Damage Control's Iyo Sky overcame the likes of Natalya and Shayna Baszler in her first and second round matches respectively. Likewise, Lyra Valkyria has been impressive on her debut on Raw, claiming wins against the likes of Dakota Kai and Zoey Stark in the first and second rounds of the tournament.
In the blue brand, Bianca Belair managed to beat Indi Hartwell and Tiffany Stratton in the first and second round respectively. The match between her and the center of the universe has been the best in the women's division so far. Likewise, Nia Jax defeated Naomi and Jade Cargill in the first and second rounds respectively. The win against Cargill was dramatic as the Storm got disqualified due to the usage of steel chair.
Iyo Sky vs Bianca Belair for the final
On Raw, Iyo Sky will be facing Lyra Valkyria in the semifinal. It could be a good match considering the in-ring skills of both wrestlers. While the rise of Valkyria has been meteoric, one must not forget how brilliant Sky has been over the last year or so. The former world champion must be able to beat the former NXT Champion despite a good fight.
Bianca Belair has been one of the best female superstars in WWE in the last few years. Given her persona and in-ring skills, it is very difficult to get past her. Nia Jax is known for her domination over the opponents. But taking on the EST will be a different cup of tea altogether. The tag team champion must be able to win the match to set a final against Sky.
