Ric Flair was in a show where he was asked about John Cena potentially dethroning a massive record. The question was if the Nature Boy would have any problem with Cena becoming the world champion for the 17th time. The WWE Hall of Famer confirmed that he had no problem with Cena achieving the milestone on his retirement tour.

Ric Flair claimed that he personally likes Cena a lot. The Nature Boy claimed that he would be the first to hit the ring and congratulate Cena on the historic moment. "I think so much, personally, of John Cena. If they do it with John, I have no problem. I'd be the first one to hit the ring and shake his hand," said Flair in the show. Both Ric and John are currently tied with 16 world titles to their name in WWE.

Flair praised Randy Orton for his incredible longevity in the company. The 16-time world champion said Randy is equally deserving to break the record. Flair praised Cena and Viper for their longevity in the company. "Another guy, in my eyes, that would deserve to be the world champion and break that record is Randy Orton," added Flair in the show.

Will Triple H be a barrier for John Cena?

"To be on top for 20 years, like John and Randy have, that's a long time to be on top," Flair said. But there was one condition that Ric felt could stop Cena from achieving the historic milestone. The former WWE star felt that the creative team could not be trusted to hand over the historic reign to the leader of the Cenation Army. Flair felt Triple H being the head of the creative had a lot to do with it.

The Nature Boy said that Hunter loved him a lot. He felt it might be a barrier for him considering John overtaking the record. It is worth noting that Triple H has appreciated Cena as arguably the greatest WWE Superstar of all time. If Paul Levesque lives by word, there would be no stopping Cena from becoming a world champion for the 17th time in his career.
