Overview
- Myles Borne confirmed to be partially deaf and claimed it affects his promo game
- He wished to be judged for his abilities, not disabilities
- Myles Borne upset Ethan Page in a singles match on WWE NXT
Myles Borne cut a promo on WWE NXT and opened up on his disability, which limits him from being great on the promo. The star wrestler confirmed that he is partially deaf and said it affects his speech. Borne got the crowd on his back by claiming he wanted to be judged based on his abilities, not disabilities. He spoke for everyone with disabilities and cut an emotional promo.
Borne won the Battle Royal on WWE NXT a few weeks ago, which was one of the most surprising results lately. The star wrestler overcame some of the biggest stars like Ethan Page, Trick Williams, Shawn Spears, Je'Von Evans, and others, who competed, to earn a shot at Oba Femi's NXT Championship.

"We've been dancing around this whole thing for a while now, but I have a disability. I'm partially deaf. It affects my speech. It affects the way I talk... I don't wanna just be known as the deaf kid. I wanna be judged by my ability, not my disability. And that's what everyone with a disability wants to be judged by," said Myles Borne.
Oba Femi and Myles Borne beat Charlie Dempsey and Ethan Page respectively, on WWE NXT
On WWE NXT, Oba Femi faced Charlie Dempsey in a match after what happened last week backstage on the developmental brand. After Myles' win in the Battle Royal, Dempsey claimed he would take on Femi for the title from his family, which did not sit well with the Ruler.

Borne did not want to give Dempsey an easy opportunity either. He asked Charlie to face Femi in a one-on-one battle against the star wrestler and promised to give him a shot at the title if he were to beat Femi in the match.
On the other hand, Myles himself faced Ethan in a singles match. Both Oba and Myles claimed a win against their opponents. While it was Bread and Butter stuff for the ruler, Borne's win came as another surprise, as he beat a former NXT Champion to prove himself a worthy contender to face Femi.
