Montez Ford was in an interview recently where he spoke about the lack of attention the Street Profits has been getting. The WWE Superstar claimed that almost everyone has forgotten how good they are amidst the emergence of the new stars. While he claimed Wrestling to be his dream job, he expressed his frustration of not being booked properly.
Montez Ford accepted the fact that when new stars arrive on the scene, the fans naturally tend to look forward to them, forgetting what the old stars have done in the past. Montez claimed it has been more than 4 years since their tag team was formed.
"You've got new faces showing up on the scene, and our audience naturally tends to forget what we've done and how we've done it. In the now, it is at the point where it's been almost 4 years since we've been tag team champions," said Ford in the interview. Montez further added that he reads all the comments from the fans.
'We're not in conversations when it comes to anything wrestling related' - Montez Ford
The star wrestler said that they are not in the conversation when it comes to the top tag teams on the roster. "I'm not going to lie and say I don't sit here and watch all the comments and everything, I watch everything. We're not in conversations when it comes to top tag teams," added Ford in the interview.
He was upset and claimed that the Street Profits were not in conversation about anything related to Wrestling. He felt the only time they are in conversation is when they get handled by the Bloodline. He was unhappy with it. While Ford claimed Wrestling to be his dream job, he felt it was as frustrating as enjoying.
"We're not in conversations when it comes to anything wrestling-related, besides getting handled by The Bloodline, and that doesn't sit well with me. So as well as it is going in terms of being my dream job, it is enjoying as it is frustrating," Ford concluded.
