Lilian Garcia returned to WWE Raw as a full-time ring announcer. The popular announcer has signed a new contract with WWE to be an announcer following the exit of Samantha Irvin from the company. While she found it a bit tricky to storm into her past role straightaway, the veteran delivered the goods by the end of the night.

Samantha took to social media and made a shocking announcement. She claimed that her time with WWE had come to an end. While she thanked everyone for being responsible for her growth in WWE, many wondered who her replacement would be. Before Raw, reports claimed that Lilian was found backstage in Philadelphia. Many wondered if there was a massive change.

It indeed turned out to be true as Lilian Garcia confirmed herself to be the full-time ring announcer. Having been a veteran in the profile right from WWE's peak during the Attitude Era and its difficult time in the PG Era, Garcia had seen it all. 

Lilian Garcia's announcement on WWE Raw return

Garcia entered the arena and got a good pop from the fans, especially from the ones who remembered her from the past. Many felt nostalgic given how she was a part of their childhood. Lilian got a chance to announce the match between the New Day and the Authors of Pain.

During the segment, she had to announce their match which was to be the number one contender for the tag team titles. Instead of pronouncing 'contenders', Lilian used 'containers' and got trolled by the fans. However, those who knew Lilain's capabilities backed her. She did not disappoint them. Lilian had returned to her best by the main event of the night.

She announced the match between Jey Uso and Bron Breakker for the IC title well. Fans claimed they indeed lost a gem in Irvin. However, they were happy to welcome a star like Garcia back who was equally good. It was a bittersweet moment for the fans considering Samantha's absence and Lilian's presence on Raw.
