Raw Recap: The Heartfelt storylines and emotions that made this episode special

The latest episode of Monday Night Raw was a masterpiece. There were some patterns, traits and emotions of the wrestlers around which the story of the night was worked. If one observed it deeply, it was pretty evident. Almost all the wrestlers represented a certain kind of emotion that highlighted their purpose or presence in the arena. It is just an observation and need not be the reality.

Let us look at some of the emotions or traits of the wrestlers around which the story of the latest episode of Raw worked.

Drew McIntyre - Depression

Drew McIntyre was in the arena after losing to Damian Priest at the Clash at the Castle. More than the loss, he was hurt by CM Punk's interference which cost him the match. As he entered Raw, fans started to chant the name "CM Punk". If one knows Drew well, they would be aware of his nature. He is usually jovial or aggressive by nature. There was a visible depression in the way the Scottish Warrior carried himself in the ring before quitting WWE.

Bron Breakker - Aggression

Bron Breakker continued to show his aggression in the roster. Over the last few weeks, he has injured several wrestlers like Ricochet, Ilja Dragunov, and others. In the latest episode, it was the turn of Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser to take the beating. Both of them received vicious spears that did not just tear them apart but also showed his aggression as a wrestler. The mighty wrestler showed his aggression would never stop and one must not interfere on his way to glory.

Seth Rollins - Pain

Seth Rollins, by character, is usually full of fun and banters. His entrance on Raw and the conversations with Priest that followed had a different side of the visionary. His eyes had a story to tell. The star wrestler seemed as if he had lost the world. There was no enthusiasm in his eyes. It seemed as if he was still in WrestleMania where his eyes were filled with grief. Be it after the match against Drew McIntyre or after the main event of Night Two when Cody Rhodes finished the story, he had pain in his eyes.

Liv Morgan - Fun

Liv Morgan continued to have fun on Raw. Since Rhea Ripley's exit, her motive has been to win the world championship, defend it, and get closer to Dominik Mysterio. She is probably having her best time in the roster troubling Dirty Dom. Last week on Raw, she offered keys to her hotel room. Yesterday on Father's Day, she wished Dom by claiming him to be her daddy. On the latest episode of Raw, her fun continued as she asked Mysterio to unzip and take his vest himself and got 'caught' in front of Damian Priest.

Chad Gable - Regression

Chad Gable has had the worst couple of months of his Wrestling career. He attacked Sami Zayn a couple of months back and has been a different person since then. The Alpha Academy member has been blaming his teammates while losing matches himself. In the latest episode, he punished Maxxine Dupri and Tozawa. Otis and the duo turned against him and got cut from the family. Not only did Gable lose his family, but was also taken out by Wyatt Sicks. From decent highs, Gable has fallen to his lowest in the last 100 days or so.

Damian Priest - Reputation

Ever since he became the world champion, Damian Priest's motive has been to earn the respect of the fans and fellow wrestlers. Hence, he has been refusing to take any sort of help from the members of Judgement Day. Credits to him, Damian has punched above weight as a world champion. Seth Rollins, in his recent promo, spoke about the legacy one leaves as a wrestler. It sowed the seeds of earning a reputation against his fellow wrestlers in the mind of Priest, who challenged the visionary for a title match. 

Uncle Howdy - Horror

Uncle Howdy set Raw on fire with his return to the company. He has now formed a dark faction named Wyatt Sicks, whose motive is to terrorize the locker room. On their debut, the faction was able to do so, taking out some of the top wrestlers and officials on the roster. It includes big names like Triple H, Seth Rollins, Gunther, Chad Gable, Iyo Sky. After the Raw went off the air, the fans cheered the dark side of the sport which had been missing since the unfortunate demise of Bray Wyatt. They liked the horror angle being brought to the roster. 

Sheamus - Hunger 

Sheamus threw himself in contention for the Intercontinental Championship, the only title he hasn't won in WWE till now. As has been the norm in the last few weeks, his aim was to provide a 'banger' of a match. He got a chance to deliver against Bron Breakker, who was as hungry as him to claim the Intercontinental Championship. In the match against Breakker, it was evident that Sheamus was hungry to deliver a great match. His entire segment revolved around the hunger to claim the title and deliver a great match.

Zelina Vega - Revenge

Zelina Vega was against the video of Liv Morgan kissing Dominik Mysterio. She openly criticized the world champion for her actions on Raw. Her banter with Liv on X prompted WWE to pair the dupo in the ongoing feud. It started last week and was intensified this week. Liv interfered in the qualifier match featuring Vega for the Money in the Bank ladder match. Zelina lost the match and later appeared in the show when Morgan came to have fun with Dom. For Vega, it was all about attaining revenge.

Braun Strowman - Authority

Braun Strowman has been authoritative since his return to Monday Night Raw. He has been singlehandedly managing the Judgement Day all by himself. The latest night was not any different, as the monster did the same. He did not let the trio of JD McDonagh, Carlito, and Dirty Dom have an impact on the main event match. Before that, his match with Chad Gable saw him teach a lesson to the Alpha Academy member. He was seen yelling "I don't like bullies" showing his authoritative nature against the bullies in the roster.
