Cody Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens at WWE Bash to remain the Undispited WWE Champion. Unlike the popular opinions, KO did not turn heel against Rhodes. The match turned out to be great and the duo shared a great moment with each other after it.
The duo entered to their entrance themes. Owens was the first to appear. There were chants of "KO" for him. Cody Rhodes got a great reception from the fans. Cody received the chants of "Cody" from the fans. The fans were excited for the match and chanted the name of the duo. Rhodes went for the Cody cutter early in the match only to recieve a warning from KO.

Kevin Owens was pumped up for the match as he was not happy with Cody's accusations of a potential heel turn. He hence got the momentum in his back and went for the kill. But Cody did well to be in the contest. The world champion went for a figure four lock. Kevin got out of the clutch and delivered chops and punches. The WWE Superstar then delivered a splash through the ringside.

There were chants of "This is Awesome" as the fans gave their approval. The duo collided in the middle. Cody delivered a Disaster kick but KO kicked out at two. Kevin delivered a Suplex and Rhodes replied with a Cody Cutter. The duo exchanged punches before KO delivered a big knee. Rhodes went for a Cody Cutter, KO tried to reverse with a stunner, but the world champion delivered a Cross Rhodes.
As the former NXT star kicked out at two, Rhodes went for a Suplex. But KO replied with a Brain Buster. The duo exchanged punches and super kicks. Cody injured his knee and KO was being kind to him before delivering a stunner. Cody delivered two Cross Rhodes in a row but KO reversed the third with a stunner. Cody still kicked out at two. He then delivered a Cross Rhodes to claim win via pinfall.
