WWE superstar Kenny Omega has recently opened up about Roman Reigns and spoke about what makes him an unusual player and being called The Tribal Cheif. Notably, Roman Reigns won the Universal Championship back in 2020, and plenty of fans have expected that he will be able to retain his title. However, Reigns was beaten by Cody Rhodes in the final game, despite dominating the ring for so long in the whole marquee event.

Following the same, Kenny Omega has opened up about The Tribal Chief. Omega says that Reigns is an ultimate champion for him, owing to the things he has done so far for the company. The great player also talks about the period when Roman faced strong backlash and hatred on social media. Despite this, he had overcome it to become a great star.

"I think Roman (Reigns) has been an incredible champion and company spokesperson. I think he did his job immaculately and I think it took a lot of guts and intestinal fortitude (for) him to stick with a lot of the backlash and hatred he received over the years from fans and otherwise. He really stuck to his game, upped his game, and got better and better with every performance, and I think if it weren’t for his incredible growth as a champion, you wouldn’t have had such an emotional finale to the most recent WrestleMania," Kenny Omega said.

So I have the utmost respect for Roman Reigns: Kenny Omega

The 40-year-old legend explains why he has much respect in his heart for Roman Reigns. The Canada-born player said that tonnes of fans were looking to see him win WrestleMania owing to his performance, but Cody Rhodes went on to defeat him to become the ultimate champion.

"So I have the utmost respect for Roman. I think he was one of the greatest WWE champions that you just wanted to see someone win the belt off of, which is very important," he added further.
