Travis Scott set to become tag team partner of John Cena: Reports

Fans have watched John Cena win his 17th WWE World Title at WrestleMania 41, breaking the record held by Ric Flair, and his heel turn during his most recent tour. During the tour, Cena surprised fans by partnering with Travis Scott in a tag bout.  At WrestleMania 41, Travis Scott helped Cena get his hands on the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship from Cody Rhodes, leaving many to speculate about what might happen next.  

Before the end of 2025, WWE is already preparing a tag team battle between Cena and Scott, per a recent revelation from Cory Hays of Pro Wrestling Nexus.  "I have been told that there is a proposal for John Cena and Travis Scott to team up in a tag team match sometime this year. Nothing is set in stone at this time".

The Rock stated at the press conference held after the Elimination Chamber that Scott is already experimenting with wrestling training and that working with a legend like Booker T might significantly advance his growth.  Scott's presence at the WrestleMania 41 final startled Dwayne Johnson, but he also commended the well-known rapper for his love of professional wrestling and the WWE.

Triple to work on storyline

Scott may get even more physically fit and keep showing up to Cena's matches with additional training. They are now looking into the possibilities of him and "the man you can't see" engaging in a tag team bout. The ideal illustration of how celebrities have adapted to wrestling is Bad Bunny and Logan Paul, who have performed well in the ring and got respect from the company and fans.  

This might be a wise approach at a time when WWE is searching for big moments that can go viral, particularly when John Cena gets a Tag Team partner and match before taking retirement from WWE. WWE fans will be waiting for Triple H to make a good storyline.
