WWE announces a star-studded 8-woman tag team match for Monday Night Raw

• WWE has announced a blockbuster 8-woman tag team match for the July 28 episode of Monday Night Raw.

• Top superstars like Rhea Ripley, Nikki Bella, Naomi, and Iyo SKY will be in action just before SummerSlam.

• The episode will also feature appearances from Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Gunther.

On Saturday, Adam Pearce, the Raw general manager, took to social media to announce the schedule for the upcoming Monday Night Raw on July 28. It will be the last Raw before the two-day mega SummerSlam PLE. He announced that Rhea Ripley, Iyo SKY, Nikki Bella, and Stephanie Vaquer will be teaming up against Naomi, Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, and Alba Fyre.

Naomi, Ripley, and Iyo Sky will be in action in a triple-threat match for the Women’s World Championship at the SummerSlam. Naomi is the current Women’s World Champion, and she cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on Iyo Sky during her match against Ripley at the Evolution PLE.

Chelsea Green and her The Green Regime teammates, Niven, and Fyre have been in an ongoing feud with Bella and Vaquer. On July 14 event of Monday Night Raw, Chelsea Green interfered with Vaquer backstage while she was giving an interview. 

Nikki Bella returned to the ring after a long gap with a win over Chelsea Green. However, she couldn’t celebrate her win for a long time, as Piper Niven and Alba Fyre rushed to the ring to attack Nikki. The Evolution Battle Royal winner, Stephanie Vaquer, rushed to the ring to save Nikki.

Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Gunther will also appear during the Monday Night Raw

Apart from announcing the 8-women tag team match, Pearce revealed the other few matches for the upcoming Monday Night Raw. He revealed that Roman Reigns, CM Punk, as well as World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, are also going to appear during the event. Gunther will be taking on CM Punk in the WWE Championship match at SummerSlam. Roman Reigns will team up with Jey Uso to take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed at SummerSlam.
