WWE updates match card for maiden 2-nighter SummerSlam

• WWE updated the tentative Match Card for the first-ever 2-nighter SummerSlam
• As of the 25 July 2025 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, 12 matches have been scheduled
• Six matches each have been confirmed to take place on either night at the MetLife Stadium

WWE has updated its tentative match card for the first-ever 2-nighter SummerSlam, which is set to take place on August 2nd and 3rd, 2025, at the MetLife Stadium. The event is set to feature some of the biggest WWE Superstars like Roman Reigns, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Jey Uso, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and so on.

Six matches each are scheduled to take place on either night of the major PLE. For the first night, three title matches are scheduled, while for the second night, all six scheduled matches are for different titles, including the mid-card and the tag team titles. Both world titles from the Men's and the Women's divisions will be on the line.

The mid-card titles in both men's and women's divisions are set to be on the line, except for the Women's United States Championship. Tag team titles from both the men's and women's divisions will be on the line. While the sequence of matches is yet to be decided, it seems as if the date for the matches is decided, as per the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
