Jordynne Grace defends TNA Knockouts Women's Championship against Tatum Paxley at 'Against All Odds'

Jordynne Grace overcame the challenge of Tatum Paxley in Against All Odds. The TNA Women's Knockouts Champion was set for an open challenge at the PLE. The fans were surprised when the music of Paxley hit. It took the announcement from the announcer for the fans to realize it was Paxley who came to wrestle their champion. There was a lack of knowledge from TNA fans.

Earlier this week on NXT Battleground, Jordynne Grace challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship. During the match, Tatum interfered and looked hungry to claim the TNA Women's Knockout title. It forced Grace to clinch the title at the hands of Paxley. She even faced the interference from Dana White. Together, the duo cost Grace her match at the UFC Arena. 

Jordynne was not too happy with it. She wondered what to do to stop Paxley and White from interfering in her matches. Hence, Grace threw an open challenge at the entire roster in TNA and NXT for her title defense at 'Against All Odds'. There was a surprise factor in regard to the opponent of the champion. However, the fans were surprised to see the NXT star in TNA.

Jordynne Grace pins Tatum Paxley to defend the title

The match between Grace and Paxley turned out to be good. If the fans had any doubt regarding the abilities of Paxley, it was erased as soon as the NXT star put on a good performance in the ring. She took Jordynne to the limit and forced her to bring a great performance. The crowd was behind their champion and expected her to trash the TNA star. Instead, they got a great match. 

Both the wrestlers were in the match and none of them had a clear advantage at any point in the match. Paxley was impressive and showed why she deserved to take on Grace in the match. But the champion clutched towards the last few minutes of the match. The star wrestler delivered her finisher and pinned Tatum to defend the title.
