WWE: John Cena gave details about his retirement tour in an interview. The 16-time world champion claimed that his farewell tour could begin in January and end in December 2025.

John Cena gave some important details about his farewell tour. The star wrestler was in an interview where he spoke about Peacemaker, his latest movie, and about his last few months in WWE. Cena claimed that Peacemaker could take the entire 2024. He added that the entire 2025 has been dedicated by him for his retirement tour in WWE.

"I can probably confirm that Peacemaker will take us to the end of 2024, and I can say that with the utmost conviction because I have given the calendar year 2025 to WWE," said Cena in the interview. At the Money in the Bank 2024, John returned and confirmed his farewell tour in the company. The fans were not happy with the announcement of the leader of the Cenation Army.

Many wrestlers have expressed their wish to be a part of Cena's retirement tour. The likes of Randy Orton, The Miz, CM Punk, and others wish to face him at least once before retiring. There is a chance of John returning to WWE at Bash in Berlin to announce the start of his retirement tour. But he did that in the interview by revealing the dates.

John Cena's update on his farewell tour

John claimed that he would officially retire in December 2025 and would never be in the ring again. Cena added that his farewell tour will begin in January 2025 spilling beans about his potential participation in the Men's Royal Rumble 2024. John Cena added that he has 36 dates scheduled to be in the year 2025 where he could potentially be available for Raw, Smackdown, and PLEs. 

"I am retiring in 2025, and I start that farewell tour in January. I’ll end it in December, and it’s going to be right around 36 dates around the world to pay thanks and gratitude to the WWE audiences around the world. So that’s what I’m doing in 2025," said Cena as he hoped to bid adieu to the fans who have supported him all these years in WWE.
