Cena's match against Sami Zayn was his last on SmackDown, as he confirmed with a post on X that it was his last appearance on the Blue Brand. With the conclusion of that appearance, Cena now has only seven dates left in his retirement tour. The veteran gave a Ronaldo reference to it with his Instagram post.

Taking to his social media, Cena posted the image of the Portugal Football star wearing his jersey with the Number 7 to address the number of appearances he has left in his farewell tour. Fans were quick to recognize the context and felt the time flew by very quickly, arriving at the point of closing in on Cena's retirement tour.

The legendary wrestler will take a break for a month before returning for the November 10 episode of WWE Raw in his hometown, Boston, MA. His last WWE Raw appearance will be on November 17 at Madison Square Garden in New York. He's scheduled for the Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29 with the retirement match set for December 13.
