Cena's match against Sami Zayn was his last on SmackDown, as he confirmed with a post on X that it was his last appearance on the Blue Brand. With the conclusion of that appearance, Cena now has only seven dates left in his retirement tour. The veteran gave a Ronaldo reference to it with his Instagram post.

Cena will wrestle Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza on September 20 in Indianapolis. He is scheduled for Crown Jewel, Perth, Australia, on October 11.

The legendary wrestler will take a break for a month before returning for the November 10 episode of WWE Raw in his hometown, Boston, MA. His last WWE Raw appearance will be on November 17 at Madison Square Garden in New York. He's scheduled for the Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29 with the retirement match set for December 13.
