Joe Hendry had a surprise appearance on Night 2 of WrestleMania 41. The TNA World Champion showed up in the show by accepting Randy Orton's Open Challenge. Hendry was squashed by the Viper in a match which finished in less than 5 minutes. Randy gave Hendry his WrestleMania moment by delivering 2 RKOs out of nowhere.

Randy entered the arena and recalled his WrestleMania past. The Apex Predator claimed it was his 20th appearance at Mania and was ready to provide his opponent their Mania moment. The Viper sent an invitation to the wrestlers in the locker room to challenge him. That was when Hendry's music hit, and the fans went crazy.

The TNA star got a loud pop as the fans loved the choice of his WrestleMania debut. The star wrestler soaked in the moment and shook hands with Orton before their match. Unfortunately, Hendry did not have his best time in Las Vegas, as Randy squashed him for fun.
Randy Orton delivered back-to-back RKOs to Joe Hendry
While Joe showed flashes of his brilliance, Orton seemed too good for him. Hendry had a slight upper hand at one point in the match and lost in the moment. The 14-time world champion came out of nowhere and delivered an RKO. He pinned the TNA World Champion to claim a win in under 5 minutes.

After the match, Randy acted as if he cared about his opponent. The veteran offered his hands and helped Hendry wake up from the spot. Orton seemed to give flowers to the TNA star for showing up at the show of all shows to give him a match. However, Hendry had another nightmare following him.
Randy delivered another RKO out of nowhere. He then pulled off Hendry's iconic pose and improvised it with his pose. Despite the fans chanting "One more time," Randy did not go for another RKO. Joe getting squashed by Randy has led to a lot of debate among the fans regarding the creative booking of TNA wrestlers in WWE.
