Jey Uso pays homage to Roman Reigns' father Sika Anoa’i after his death

WWE wrestler Jey Uso has paid homepage to Sika Anoa’i who is a WWE Hall of Famer as he died at the age of 79. Sika Anoa’i was the father of Roman Reigns. Sika and his brother Afa had a tag team called the Wild Samoans. They won the WWF/E World Tag Team Championship title thrice in the 80s and were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007. Jahrus Anoa’i who is the nephew of Sika took to Instagram to post the bad news that his uncle passed away on 25th June 2024 at the age of 79.

Many WWE superstars went out on social media to react to the news. WWE superstars like Jey Uso took to social media and reposted WWE’s announcement on Instagram and also posted a photo alongside with him to pay homage to Sika Anoa’i. According to Sportskeeda Jey Uso took his Instagram account and wrote, "I HAD TO... ONE TIME FOR UNK. RIP," Uso wrote with the image.

Roman Reigns expresses gratitude 

Meanwhile, Roman Reigns and Jey Uso are the founding members of the Bloodline which later became one of the biggest factions in WWE history. Before joining hands together Jey Uso and Roman Reigns were rivals in 2020. The duo had a match in ‘I Quit’ Hell in the Cell match for Universal title. Later Sika and Afa known as The Wild Samoans made their way in the game and Sika placed Ula Fala on Roman Reigns and ended the rivalry between them.

While Roman Reigns who is a former WWE Champion went on to social media to express gratitude towards everyone for standing by his side during the difficult phase. Since WrestleMania XL Roman Reigns has been out of action in WWE and there is no sign about his return to WWE soon. During WrestleMania XL he lost his WWE Championship title to Cody Rhodes and has been out of the picture since then. Many WWE fans around the world are eager to see Roman Reigns back in the WWE ring.
