Sika Anoa'i, a former WWE superstar and Hall of Famer, has passed away at the age of 79. Roman Reigns' father, the former WWE uncontested worldwide champion, was Anoa'i. Jahrus Anoa'i, a family member, announced the news on his own Instagram account.

Sika, whose real name is Leati Sika Amituana'i Anoaʻi, began his career in wrestling in 1973 and continued until 1988. His most well-known career was working in several promotions as a tag team alongside his brother Afa. Sika wrestled for a while in the NJPW, Georgia Championship Wrestling, Mid-South Wrestling, and WWE, among other organizations.

He received his WWE Hall of Fame induction in 2007. He and his spouse Patricia are parents to five children altogether. We are currently thinking of the Anoa'i family. Matt "Rosey" Anoa'i and Roman Reigns' father, Sika, was a member of The Wild Samoans.

The Wild Samoans, consisting of Sika Anoaʻi and his brother Afa Anoaʻi, won 21 world tag team championships. The Wild Samoans were the WWF's three-time World Tag Team champions. The Wild Samoans established their imprint in the then-WWF in the early to mid-1980s, with wrestlers like Bob Backlund, Pedro Morales, The Strongbows, Tony Atlas, and even their cousin, Rocky Johnson (The Rock's father).

Sika Anona'i started coaching at Wild Samoan Training Centre after retiring

The Wild Samoans initially competed for the organization in 1980, returning from 1983 until 1985. They split up again, but Sika Anoa'i returned as a singles wrestler in 1986 and was successful, even challenging Hulk Hogan for the heavyweight belt at Saturday Night's Main Event XII in 1987.

Sika Anoa'i and his brother went on to coach wrestlers at the Wild Samoan Training Centre after retiring. According to WWE.com, their amazing accomplishment as trainers will undoubtedly be an important part of their history.

The Wild Samoans were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007. Anoa'i's latest WWE performance was in October 2020. He and his brother Afa dubbed Reigns The Tribal Chief when he defeated his cousin, Jey Uso, at Hell in a Cell to retain the WWE Universal Championship.
