'It’s going to have a Rocky-type of feel' - Kurt Angle on his biopic

Kurt Angle opened up on his biopic in a recent interview. The Olympic gold medalist claimed that his biopic would be about his journey towards claiming the Olympic gold medal amidst the insane challenges. The WWE Hall of Famer claimed that the movie will have the vibes of 'Rocky' and 'The Fighter and Iron Claw'. 

Kurt Angle revealed the brief story of the movie. He said the journey of a boy from the streets of Pittsburgh who went on to claim the gold medal despite adversities like losing his coach, not being in his best mental state, and with a broken neck would be shown well.

"My movie is going to be about a kid from the streets of Pittsburgh that overcomes adversities, including a broken neck, and ends up winning an Olympic gold medal," said Angle. Kurt has one of the most thrilling stories for a wrestler. His Wrestling career outside of WWE was brilliant.

Kurt Angle's biopic has two parts

Angle won the gold medal in his weight category at the Atlanta Olympics. The star wrestler claimed that the story of his biopic would be about his Olympic history. He said it would have the vibes of some of the movies like 'Rocky' and 'The Fighter and Iron Claw'.

"It’s only about my Olympic history, it’s my Olympic story. It’s going to have a Rocky-type of feel to it, with a touch of The Fighter and Iron Claw," added Kurt in his statement. It had led to excitement among the fans. They were happy to see an action movie based on a WWE Superstar. 

Kurt's biopic is likely to come out in two parts. The first of them is likely to point out his achievements and struggles as a wrestler. The sequel is likely to concentrate on his WWE and TNA careers. Angle himself felt that his career was too big to be restricted to a solo movie. The script for the movie is ready and there is a search for the investors.
