Jimmy Uso has been pretty authoritative since his return to WWE Bad Blood. While not many have noticed it, Jimmy has indirectly taken all the shots of the Old Bloodline on behalf of Roman Reigns. It has led to some wonder if Jimmy is the new Head of the Table. Roman might well be letting Jimmy steal the spotlight.
Roman Reigns did not have any of his old faction members since his return to Bad Blood. Jimmy came to his assistance when the OTC least expected him to. It was the first step towards the claim. Roman surprisingly asked if he indeed came to his assistance. Jimmy did accept Roman as the OTC for obvious reasons.
Later in the same night, Cody Rhodes was attacked by the new Bloodline. It was Jimmy who nearly forced the OTC to assist Cody in the pursuit. The world champion could live for a night as Jimmy was ready to assist him with Roman on his side.
Jimmy Uso's suggestion for Roman Reigns to take Jey Uso's help
On Smackdown, Jimmy returned to a loud pop from the fans. He asked mic from Roman in a way the OTC usually asks from his fellows in the ring. Roman ensured that he and everyone else acknowledged Jimmy for his efforts to keep the fight going against the new Bloodline.
It was Jimmy who asked Roman to think about their present and future. He claimed that they could not do it as a duo and needed help from several wrestlers. While Roman denied the idea of asking for help from Jey Uso, Jimmy asked the OTC to think about it. The main event of the night reiterated Jimmy's take.
After being attacked by the Tonga brothers, Jacob Fatu, and Solo Sikoa, Jimmy asked Roman to think about getting help from Jey. All these hint at Jimmy leading the old Bloodline from the front. It might be a case of Roman letting his cousin shine. It might be a good move from the creative team to give space for Jimmy to shine.
