Pat said it was an absolute honour for him to be recalled and claimed lucky enough to be with the WWE universe. He felt good about sharing the commentator box with Michael Cole.
McAfee was the commentator on Raw from January to August this year. He switched from WWE to MLB for about 3-4 months. The fans were disappointed to not see him in the comm box. Since then, Joe Tessitore has been on Raw as McAfee's replacement. There is a likelihood of him being replaced with Pat as per the deal.
Taking to X, Pat felt honoured to be called back by WWE. He claimed it to be a childhood dream for him to be associated with the WWE Universe in one way or another. "An absolute honour to be asked back... A Childhood dream realized every single time I’m lucky enough to be in an arena with the WWE Universe," wrote McAfee on X.
