Sheamus participated in the Bron Breakker Intercontinental Championship triple-threat match last weekend. The match also featured Ludwig Kaiser, and Sheamus ended up with a shattered rib as a result of the three guys throwing everything at each other. While speaking with Breakker backstage about his championship defense, Cathy Kelly revealed the news.
Sheamus At Survivor Series 2024 PLE, "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus sustained an injury during the triple threat action. This week's Red brand edition features an update on his injuries and expected return date from the Stamford-based campaign. The Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington, USA, hosted the live broadcast of Monday Night Raw's Survivor Series PLE's 12/2 fallout edition.
After the triple-threat bout, Sheamus posted a video to social media showcasing his battle wounds, which included rib, arm, and upper back gashes. Breakker stabbed him through a chair as Kaiser repeatedly slapped him with his Shileleigh. The championship is still the only one the veteran has not yet held in the WWE, and Breakker kept it by pinning Sheamus. He has received numerous honors throughout the course of his 15-year career, but this is the one championship that prevents him from being regarded as a Grand Slam Champion.
Two more WWE stars got injured
Breakker's chat was cut short by Kaiser, who reminded viewers that he was repaying Sheamus for injuring him by breaking a rib. Kaiser was en route to discuss a singles match between Breakker and Adam Pearce. They have already battled twice, but both times they were disqualified. After missing eight months of action because of a shoulder injury, the Celtic Warrior made a comeback early this year. Since his comeback, he has been a consistent presence on WWE Raw, competing against opponents including Breakker, Kaiser, Drew McIntyre, and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
It wasn't just Sheamus who left the Survivor Series with an injury.Two men who competed in the main event of the WarGames, Jey Uso and Bronson Reed, are also on the shelf.The Celtic Warrior's return to play has not yet been given by the promotion, despite the fact that the injury has been confirmed.
