Gunther got a terrific reception from the Berlin crowd throughout WWE's tour of Germany. The world champion got a heroic welcome when he stepped into Germany. The fans celebrated his win over Randy Orton almost like their owns with chants of "Gunther" which was heard like "Fuhrer". Fans noted it online and claimed the Ring General to be the new Fuhrer.
Gunther beat Orton in the main event of the WWE Bash in Berlin and successfully defended his title in his maiden attempt. The match was the best of the night and the fans went bonkers. In some instances, the match could not kick start due to the terrific reactions from the fans. Randy himself was happy to delay the match as he took some time to enjoy the moment.

It was a night to remember for Gunther as he beat the Legend Killer in front of the Berlin crowd. After the match, the Ring General extended his hands as an acknowledgment to Orton. After the segment, Cathy Kelly wanted to take an interview with the world champion. The fans chanted "Gunther" which was heard like "Fuhrer". The fans had a hilarious take on it on social media.
Similarities between Gunther and Hitler
In German, Fuhrer means a leader. In the 20th century, Adolf Hitler was popularly called Fuhrer as the people saw him as a leader of the masses. As the fans chanted Gunther's name, the star wrestler thanked them for their support. He then went on to share his experience of returning to Germany. Gunther touched upon beating Randy Orton and gave him the flowers.
Despite being a heel, the Ring General broke his character and appreciated the fight Orton brought to the table. There are some similarities between Hitler and Gunther. Both were born in Austria and moved to Germany. The fans recognized it and claimed that Gunther was the new Fuhrer. Many believed it could be made as a great story in WWE to elevate the star wrestler who has reached the peak of his career.
