Drew McIntyre has funny take on Manchester United legend

Drew McIntyre had a funny little banter with Wayne Rooney on the WWE Tour. The Scottish Warrior was in London against Jey Uso. During the event, the 3-time world champion took a dig at Rooney who was in the arena to watch the show. Drew asked what happened to the former Manchester United captain and that both of them were of the same age.

"Aren’t we the same age? What the hell happened to you?" asked McIntyre to Wayne Rooney who was amongst the audience. The United legend sported a smile and did not take the verbal banter of Drew seriously. The fans were happy with the gesture of Rooney. The Scottish Warrior claimed an impressive win in the event. It was the resumption of the WWE tour of the United Kingdom.

After the events took place in Birmingham, Belfast, and Cardiff, there was a brief stoppage due to the WrestleMania XL. The tour resumed in London with Drew headlining the event. Despite having an elbow injury, McIntyre took part in the previous tours. Now a completely fit Drew is hungry for success. He is currently behind the coveted world heavyweight championship title.

What's next for Drew McIntyre?

On the Night Two of WrestleMania XL, McIntyre beat Seth Rollins to win his third world title. As the Scottish warrior was celebrating his win which he could not do in front of a live audience on the previous occasions, there was an interruption from Damian Priest. The money in the bank contract holder successfully chased in his contract and won the world title by pinning McIntyre. 

The top heel of the company was so angry after losing his belt. His reign lasted for a little over 5 minutes. The Scottish warrior held CM Punk responsible for his loss. The Raw after Mania saw him main event for a title run against Priest in the Backlash. Just when McIntyre was about to deliver Claymore, Punk interrupted and became responsible for Jey Uso beating Drew. It has further irked McIntyre.
