The Scottish Warrior claimed that the American Nightmare tells half truths and lies up and down. Drew questioned Cody terming himself the company guy while attacking him in his property.

"Cody, Cody, Cody, you’re such a smug b*st*rd, aren’t you? You tell half truths and lies up and down, but I’ll go into those next time I’m face to face with you. You attacked me in the parking lot a couple of weeks ago and all I was trying to do was come to work, do my job, and you have the audacity to attack me on my property," Drew said on his promo.

McIntyre termed Cody Rhodes an animal and a wolf in sheeps clothing. He claimed himself to be a saviour of the fans from Cody's madness.

"You claim to be a company man, the company man, does a company man show up to people’s houses and attack an innocent civilian? No, you’ve lost it, Cody. You’re an animal, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and I am protecting these fans from seeing you rapidly descend into madness, and mess this whole thing up for everyone," Drew added in his promo.

The star wrestler said that Cody agreed that the 3-time world champion was the first person to have broken him. "You have admitted I’m the first person who’s broken you. Everyone sees it, you’re not the QB1 anymore. You’re going to be riding the bench as soon as a new captain emerges," Drew said in his promo.
