Drew McIntyre regarded John Cena as a legend and felt he might well be the Greatest of All Time, as far as WWE is concerned. The Scottish Warrior was sad that he could not be a part of the retirement tour of the Leader of the Cenation Army.
Ahead of the Survivor Series 2025, Drew showed up in an interview with ESPN, where he found it hard to believe that Cena has only two matches left in him. The Scottish Warrior expressed his sadness at not being a part of Cena's retirement tour but was glad to have learnt a lot from him.

"It’s insane to see that he’s about to have his last couple of matches. I’m sad I didn’t get one of them. But I’m glad I’m part of the roster, I’m glad I got to travel the world, I’m glad I got to learn from John Cena because he is a legend and he might just be the GOAT," McIntyre said on Get Up, ESPN.

Drew noted how Cena stepped up when WWE needed someone to take over after big stars left the promotion. He added that John became a massive star and a role model for the generations to come.

"He’s meant everything to our industry. When The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin left WWE, the top superstars, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, at the end of their career, the company and the world needed somebody to step up into that top position. John stepped up in a massive way for multiple generations," the 3-time world champion added.
