Drew McIntyre (Source: X)
On December 14, 2024, WWE fans had a number of reasons to watch the company's major event. Sami Zayn and Drew McIntyre had a great match as Saturday Night's Main Event returned to the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New Jersey. He intended to take aim at everybody who backs Roman Reigns and the original Bloodline.
The NBC special coverage began with this match. The Underdog From The Underground continued to fight back, even though Sami Zayn initially received the brunt of the abuse and was bumped over the announcer table prior to the commercial break. Drew McIntyre used some nasty chops to back Sami Zayn into the corner, but Zayn quickly retaliated with his ferocious attack. He proceeded to send McIntyre over the top rope with a clothesline. Zayn didn't stop there, sending McIntyre reeling as he dove outside with a slingshot moonsault block.
Drew McIntyre back after long time
When Drew McIntyre unexpectedly delivered a Claymore Kick, it was the final straw. This followed many close calls with victory for Sami Zayn.
At Saturday Night's Main Event, Zayn challenged McIntyre to a one-on-one fight because he was really unhappy about it. The Scottish Warrior immediately accepted the challenge. McIntyre's first bout since his Hell in a Cell matchup with CM Punk at Bad Blood 2024 was this one. It is now necessary for Sami Zayn to keep trying to defeat Drew McIntyre.
