Drew McIntyre was in the kickoff event where he cut a great promo. Ahead of the Money in the Bank 2024, the Scottish Warrior addressed a lot of things like the value of the briefcase, the number of wrestlers who have beaten him clean in the last 4-5 years, the focus on the contract, and so on. He was a fired up man after not being able to win the world title in the last few instances.

Drew McIntyre was angry with the fact that CM Punk cost him the world title matches twice in the last 3 months and yet he was regarded as the villain. He claimed that without an outside interference, it would be impossible for him to lose the match. McIntyre vowed to win the briefcase and become the world champion.

The 3-time world champion took a dig at Damian Priest and said that he would not use foul tricks to cash in the title but would rather directly challenge the winner of the match between Damian and Seth Rollins for the world title. He further said that not many have beaten him clean in the last 4-5 years. McIntyre claimed his opponents not of his level to challenge him.

Drew McIntyre leaves pre-match conference midway

Drew was so involved in the promo that he was frustrated at everything that has happened around him in the last few months. He probably thought of CM Punk and left the kickoff show as soon as he was done with talking. Michael Cole, who acted as the host, was surprised to see that. Drew went backstage where he cut another small promo.

The Scottish Warrior said that he spoke no lies in the kickoff show. He said that none has beaten him clean in the last few years and added that if not for Punk costing him the title, he would've been the world champion at the point. Thereby, McIntyre claimed that he would win the briefcase and cash it on the winner of the match between Seth and Priest to be the new World Heavyweight Champion.
