Manu Bhaker and her coach Jaspal Rana got a tremendous reception at Delhi Airport after returning home from their campaign in the Paris Olympics 2024. Manu scripted history in Paris as she became the first Indian athlete to win multiple medals in a single Olympics. She had won the Bronze medal in the Women's 10m Air Pistol and the Mixed Team events for shooting.
As Manu Bhaker and Rana returned him in the Delhi Airport, the celebrations started from the fans. Several people had gathered to welcome her. They played the drums and chanted her name. The fans let out huge roars and came up with the chants of "Vande Mataram". Manu and Rana raised their hands and acknowledged the fans.

DD India took to X and shared the footage of her being welcomed by the people at Delhi Airport. Bhaker was honoured with a garland. Media personnel were at the airport to capture the moment. Rana and Manu stood in their car and thanked everyone for their support. They seemed happy to get the reception and waved at people. The fans started to share the video on social media platforms. Manu is the only Indian Shooter to win two medals at the Olympics.
Bhaker took part in three events at the Paris Olympics 2024. In the Women's 10m Air Pistol Individual event, she was leading well at one point, only to settle for a Bronze. In the Mixed Team event of 10m Air Pistol, she won Bronze with Arabjot Singh. She missed a medal in the 25m Air Pistol event despite leading at one stage.
