Do The Rock and Triple H not get along well with each other?

The Rock and Triple H work together for building some of the major WWE stories, as per their own admission. It happened when The Rock vs Roman Reigns was announced for WrestleMania XL, but the fans disapproved with the 'We Want Cody' Movement, leading to a Cody vs Roman match, eventually hurting The Rock in the process.

The entire sequence gave birth to the Final Boss and the leadup to WrestleMania XL and its delivery was great. On WWE Raw after Mania, The Rock wished to have a belt vs belt match in the future. However, it could not be materialized, as John Cena announced his retirement tour, which meant his last run as the world champion.

Similar to it, there were some other stories, which were promised by The Rock but haven't been completed. At Bad Blood, The Final Boss delivered a 3-finger message, whose context has not been revealed. Whether it will be used in the future or the present stories is yet to be known. However, since Bad Blood, its relevance has been inexistent.

Likewise, The Final Boss showed up on WWE Raw's Netflix Premier and broke Kayfabe by ending the rivalry woth Rhodes. A few weeks later, he also asked Cody for his soul before the Elimination Chamber. In Toronto, The Rock ensured Cena attacked Cody, after the latter refused his offer to sell his soul.

In the process, The Rock and Cena joined the forces. However, their story has remained void so far, which has only led to anger among the fans. It all meant fans wondering if The Rock is intentionally putting Triple H in a tough spot for ruining his match against Roman Reigns, which was already announced for WrestleMania XL.
