Dirty Dominik Mysterio claimed to hate CM Punk and felt he looked like Eddie Munster. The IC Champion wished to kick Punk's face and did not like the idea of hyping his WrestleMania Main Event appearance. Dom felt it was about time Punk achieved what he dreamt of, given he was already over 45 and had little left in his career.
Mysterio felt it was more of a gift to Punk and compared it to elders gifting the kids to stop their tantrums. The star wrestler felt Punk needed a favor from Paul Heyman, as he believed he had no purpose to be in the Main Event scenarios.

"I f***ng hate CM Punk. I don’t know what it is about that guy, I don’t know if it’s because he looks like Eddie Munster and I just want to kick him in the f*****g face, or the fact that everyone’s like ‘oh he finally did it, he finally got his WrestleMania main event’, like good for you old man, 60 years old, took you 45 years to accomplish your one goal, like god damn dude it’s about time," said Dominik Mysterio in an interview with the TWC Worldwide.
'I don’t need to go out there calling myself ‘best in the world’ at 70 years old' - Dominik Mysterio
"It’s like what they say about babies, when they have tantrums you give them what they want so they can shut the f**k up. So I’m pretty sure that’s what happened, that’s why he needed a favor from Paul Heyman, because there was obviously a reason he was never in the main event right?" Dom felt.
"You call yourself the best in the world, I don’t need to go around calling myself the best in the world because people know I am, I’m better than the best. I don’t need to go out there calling myself ‘best in the world’ at 70 years old. You have these legends talking about me, I don’t need to do it myself," Mysterio added.
