Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has called 14-time World Champion Randy Orton the “modern-day Undertaker” of the WWE locker room. Speaking on the “What Do You Wanna Talk About” podcast, Rhodes said Orton has become the new leader of the locker room, a role once held by The Undertaker.
“I like the idea that you’re talking about Randy Orton who is currently, I don’t think Undertaker would dislike this, but he really has become the Undertaker of this locker room,” Rhodes said. “If there was a real problem, probably going to go to Randy or Seth.”

At the recent SummerSlam event, Rhodes defeated John Cena to become the Undisputed WWE Champion. But after the match, Brock Lesnar made a surprising return and was seen going after Cena.

Speaking about Brock’s comeback during an appearance on ESPN's SportsCenter, Rhodes said it makes sense for where WWE is headed. "Brock's an NCAA champion, UFC heavyweight champion, he fits right in with the direction that WWE is going, in terms of sport meeting entertainment."

Rhodes also shared his thoughts on his match with Cena during the WWE post-match show.
"With WWE doing 'WWE:Unreal' on Netflix, for example, there's so much of what we're seeing we've never seen before, but sometimes it's just really easy for me to tell you like it is. And I think you know this. I know you know this. I know you know this. I think we know this. A moment like that is as real as you will ever get in our industry. And before I can say, 'Hey, I did it. Hey, I worked so hard.' We have to give it up for the GOAT John Cena," Rhodes concluded.
