He noted Brock's accomplishments of winning the NCAA Championship and UFC Heavyweight Championship as a fighter and pointed it as the sign of a capable wrestler.
WWE recently confirmed a contract with ESPN to stream PLEs on their platform. To promote their partnership, WWE and ESPN held a talk and Cody being the face of the company represented the partnership. In the show, he was asked about Brock's return. Rhodes noted some of the major achievements of Brock as a fighter. He noted that Lesnar won a lot of Championships when he left WWE and joined UFC.
The American Nightmare claimed that the Beast is an NCAA Champion and a UFC Heavyweight Champion. He claimed that Brock fits WWE's direction well as a package. "Brock is an NCAA Champion, UFC Heavyweight Champion, he fits right in with the direction that WWE is going, in-terms of sport meeting entertainment," said Rhodes.
Brock Lesnar's WWE SummerSlam 2025 return gets mixed reactions
There has been a mixed reaction from the WWE world for Brock's return. While the arena shook when Brock's music hit after the Mian Event of Night 2 of WWE SummerSlam 2025 match between Cody and Cena, the Internet Wrestling Community pointed Brock's name being mentioned in the Janel Grant Lawsuit.
