Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin defend their NXT tag team against impressive Axiom and Nathan Frazer

Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin defended their NXT Tag Team championship successfully in the NXT Stand and Deliver. They faced a stiff challenge from Axiom and Nathan Frazer who stepped up when it mattered the most. The duo pushed the champions to their limit and put on a show. Corbin and Breakker had to bring their A-game to defend the title.

Even before the bell rang, Axiom and Nathan attacked the champions. There seemed to be a clear strategy by the challengers to take on the champions. The match was great as all the wrestlers were up for the fight. None of them gave up easily. Despite athletic moves, all the wrestlers kicked out at two now and then. Axiom and Frazer dominated the first half of the match.

Not many thought them to have a chance. But the win in the triple threat match seemed to have given them the much-needed confidence. They took on a dominant pair like Corbin and Bron and impressed the fans. There were 'This is awesome' chants from the fans which indicated how well they enjoyed the match. At one point, it seemed like there would be new champions.

Bron Breakker gives final touch

As Axiom and Frazer nearly took the match away from the champions, a special effort was needed from the duo of Corbin and Breakker. Frazer delivered a gymnastic splash to Corbin and almost claimed the win. However, Breakker stopped Corbin from getting pinned. The crowd and the commentators went crazy. It was a brilliant way to start the big night of NXT. 

Breakker was back in his elements towards the end where he cleverly manipulated the duo of Axiom and Frazer. As he was the legal contender, Breakker delivered a spear to Frazer. Corbin executed a splash and pinned Nathan to claim an impressive win. The champion duo ended up defending their title. Frazer was the star performer of the match who was athletic and showed brilliant intent to win, alas in a losing cause.
