Kofi Kingston recently praised Bryan Danielson and regarded him to be in the top 5 greatest wrestlers of all time. He appreciated Bryan for returning despite suffering a neck injury and indirectly took a dig at Big E. Kofi regarded Daniel to be a high-class performer in the ring and said he would always stand up for his fellow stars.
Speaking to The Kliq, Kofi claimed Danielson to be among the greatest wrestlers of all time. He appreciated Bryan for returning to action despite suffering a career-threatening neck injury. He felt Daniel had to be admired for the same. In the process, Kofi took a dig at Big E who could not return to action after a neck injury.
"Daniel Bryan, I think, is one of the greatest. He's gotta be in the top five of all time for a lot of different reasons [beginning with] resilience. I mean, he's a guy who broke his neck and came back [after] people said he wasn't gonna be able to do it. You have to admire someone that can do that, you know?" said Kingston.
Kofi Kingston speaks about Kofimania
When asked about his WrestleMania match in 2019, Kofi said Daniel was a big advocate of his win. He said the former WWE Superstar would not brag about it. Kingston was grateful to Bryan for delivering the moment of his career.
He felt Bryan was a super smooth and high-class performer in the ring. He spoke about Kofimania, and 'Yes moment', and felt it to be similar in terms of the storyline and continuity. Xavier Woods and Kofi recently turned against Big E for choosing his wife and career over the New Day. They did not give a dam about Big E's neck injury.
"From a storyline perspective, when you're able to complete a circle like that and when you're able to have continuity [in that way] and you see it unfold in front of your eyes in a WWE ring, it's just beautiful," Kingston concluded in the interview.
