Bloodline's Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga win 6-team gauntlet match to be Number One contenders for DIY's tag team titles

Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga claimed a win for themselves and the Bloodline on Smackdown. The duo won the 6-team Gauntlet match and earned themselves a shot at the tag team titles. The duo overcame the tough challenge of Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford to emerge victorious. Next week on the blue brand, DIY will defend their title against the Bloodline.

The match started with Apollo Creaves and Baron Corbin taking on the Legado Del Fantasma. Corbin was highly impressive and helped his team to claim a win. What followed was the challenge of the Street Profits. Baron seemed to be at his best and put on a show. However, Apollo was pinned by the Street Profits leading to their loss. 

In came Pretty Deadly who fought well. But the Street Profits were in great momentum. Montez was in flow and gave one of his best performances in recent times. He and Dawkins took out the duo that took them to their limit. But the duo of Ford and Angelo stood tall by claiming a pinfall. The OC were the following challenge for the Street Profits. With every passing minute, Ford and Dawkins started to get tired.

Street Profits bow down after a great fight

But there was no shortage of spirits, as the duo put on a show. They pinned the OC to go for the ultimate battle. In came the Bloodline and the Street Profits had a task cut out. Ford and Angelo gave their everything. The duo took out Tonga and looked good for a win. But Jacob Fatu was ready for their challenge. After being taken out by Montez, Fatu returned to take him out. 

Jacob proved to be the difference between the two sides. Having been a part of the most part of the match, there was a big challenge for Ford. Jacob took advantage of the tiredness of the Street Profits. He pinned Ford to claim a win for the Bloodline. A few weeks back, Jacob took out DIY all by himself. He could be the biggest threat for the DIY who recently became the tag team champions.
