Jey Uso might not be one of the candidates to be involved in the story of the Bloodline Civil War. The Main event Jey has been on Raw for nearly a year and has nearly established himself as one of the top stars in the roster. For him to return to the Bloodline story would mean a disruption in his ongoing story. WWE might not be interested in bringing him into the story while he is involved in one.
In the latest episode on Raw, the younger Uso got himself in a feud with Dominik Mysterio. It was an uncalled invitation for a fight as he asked Damian Priest if Mami was single and ready to mingle. Jey managed to pick up a win over Dirty Dom later in the night. After that, he asked Mami to pick up his call. In one of the segments after the match. Ripley yelled when asked if she had the number of Jey.
It seems like WWE has been planning on a pretty decently long story between Rhea, Jey, Dirty Dom, and Liv Morgan. The payoff would not be good if they did not get the story to evolve. Hence, there is a good chance of the segment lasting for at least 100 days. Meanwhile, the Bloodline's story has evolved well and seems to be up for a civil war. The return of Roman Reigns would mark the beginning of the new story.
Unlikely long-term reunion with Roman Reigns
At SummerSlam, the Tribal Chief is likely to return. In that case, there would not be enough time for the reactive team to get Jey into the Bloodline story. The only possibility would be him joining the story later in November around the Survivor Series. But that might not be a long-term association between Jey and Roman, as the younger Uso is already a big star and might need a giant push.
Jey is someone who is a push away from getting into the world title shot. To demote him back to a different story would mean the sabotage of his solo run. Hence, Jey is unlikely to be involved in the Bloodline civil war. He could be a member to take part in the Survivor Series. But from a larger perspective, he might not be a part of the Bloodline story, as he has evolved well as a solo wrestler.
