Bayley defends Women's World Championship in triple threat match against Naomi and Tiffany Stratton in Backlash 2024

Bayley retained her Women's World title in the Backlash 2024. The former member of Damage Control beat Naomi and Tiffany Stratton to win her maiden PLE event as the champion in her current run. The crowd was totally involved in the match and rooted Bayley for the win. they supported Tiffany and Naomi whenever they came up with good moves in the match.

Tiffany was the first one to enter the arena, followed by Naomi and the champion respectively. Bayley sang along with the crowd. Tiffany received a good response from the fans as they chanted 'Tiffy time'. At the start, all the three wrestlers tried to pin each other. Bayley tried to pin Tiffany, who tried to pin Naomi, followed by an attempt from Naomi to pin Bayley. The crowd was involved in the match and chanted Bayley's name.

Tiffany dominated the proceedings with a double-pin attempt. She followed it with an impressive Gymnastic athletic move. The crowd chanted 'Tiffy time' for the next few minutes. Stratton was brilliant in the ring and continued to deliver her athletic moves. She delivered the Gymnastic athletic move to Naomi. What followed it was a neckbreaker from Naomi down the ring. A pin from Bayley failed.

Bayley pins Naomi 

Tiffany then attempted the prettiest Moonsalut ever but the champion interrupted. Tiffany took out the champion and Naomi down the ring and attempted a double prettiest Moonsault ever. There was a double teamwork from Naomi and the champion. The crowd chanted 'This is awesome'. The match was indeed good and lived up to the expectations. It was a bit more brief than expected. But the fans did not complain.  

Naomi tried to pin Bayley, which failed. Bayley countered it and pinned Naomi to retain the title. The crowd was happy for Bayley who accomplished her maiden title defense in a PLE. Naomi had a smile and congratulated Bayley on her win. Stratton looked distraught after failing to win. In the upcoming episode on the blue brand, we could get to see the upcoming opponent of the Women's World Champion.
