Although WWE has not officially finalized its plan to purchase AAA, the business has already secured key players from the famous Mexican organization, and one in particular has fans scratching their heads. Ernesto Ocamo, Editor-in-Chief of Super Luchas, claims that as part of its growing collaboration, WWE has signed several AAA's top talents.
La Parka, La Hiedra, Lady Flammer, Lady Maravilla, Nino Hamburguesa, Hijo de Dr. Wagner, Hijo del Vikingo, and Alberto El Patron are on the list. Among the names, the most contentious is undoubtedly Alberto El Patron, who was once known as Alberto Del Rio in the WWE. El Patron is anticipated to continue wrestling under the WWE brand through AAA, despite previous legal troubles and controversy that appeared to have put an end to a WWE comeback.
It's still unclear if he will return to WWE television. Alberto Del Rio has a huge history with WWE. After an argument with a WWE staffer backstage in 2014, he was released from the company. Del Rio reportedly struck a social media manager after the employee allegedly made a racial remark. WWE cited “unprofessional conduct” at the time. He rejoined the organization in 2015, but resigned again in 2016 due to a breach of the wellness policy and dissatisfaction with creative direction.
