Bloodline has been the most dominant faction post-pandemic in WWE. The Samoan Family has produced some of the greatest WWE Superstars of all-time. The likes of Yokozuna, Rikishi, The Rock, Roman Reigns, Umaga, the Usos, Anoi's, and others belong to the same family. There is a reason why the Samoan Family is regarded as the most dominant faction in all of Wrestling.
On the other hand, the Intercontinental Championship is one of the most prestigious titles in the history of the company. Along with the World Championship, the IC title is one of the most oldest titles in the history of WWE. Given its rich history, despite it being a mid-card title, the IC title has a certain legacy. Many top wrestlers have held on to the title at least once.

5. The Rock
The Rock is easily in the list of top 5 greatest WWE Superstars of all-time. Everything started for him from the Samoan Family as he was introduced as the son of Rocky Johnson. His initial gimmick did not go well with the fans and was often criticized. Hence, he needed a change in character.
That's how the Rock was born. The heel Rock was a menace, highly entertaining, and was loved by the fans. His feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin is arguably the best in the history. The start of the feud witnessed the IC title being on the line. In 1998, the belt played a role in a leadup to the incredible feud.
4. Rikishi
Rikishi was one of the top stars of the Attitude Era. The star wrestler had a great charisma and wrestled well for his stature. At one point of time, he was pushed well by the company given the reaction from the fans. At his prime, Rikishi held on to the Intercontinental Championship. It was one of his major accomplishments.
Today, Rikishi is famous for some of his opinions. There was a chance for his return at WrestleMania XL as a special guest referee for the match between the Usos. Back in time, he could wrestle well and involved in some of the top feuds with the likes of The Undertaker, Kurt Angle, and others.
3. Umaga
Umaga was one of the most destructive forces in the Ruthless Aggression Era. He got a big push as soon as he netered the company. For his stature, Umaga was probably the most athletic ones on the roster at the time apart from the Big Show. Umaga had terrific feuds with Bobby Lashley, John Cena, and others.
At his prime, Umaga could produce classics. He was remembered to be a great heel in the making. During the period, he became the IC Champion and elevated it reasonably. In the period, it seemed like the IC title was not a mid-card title but nearly equivalent to a top belt like the WWE and the World Heavyweight Championships.
2. Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns is the biggest draw of the company in the last 10 years. Particularly in the last 5 years as a Tribal Cheif, he has been the center of gravity. The star wrestler has become a world champion on numerous occasions. In the late 2010s, he was being pushed as the 'Big Dog'.
While the gimmick was not as well as it was planned, Roman had success statistically against some of the greats like The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, and others. In 2017, he became the Intercontinental Champion and held on to the title for a couple of months. The title did not have a high value when Roman held on to it.
1. Jey Uso
Jey Uso became the most recent Bloodline member to win the IC Title. He also became the first member of the Samoan Family to beat a member of the Steiner family. For the first time in his WWE career which has lasted for 14 years, the Main Event Jey won a singles title. He won the prestigious IC title on the main event of WWE Raw.
It was long time coming as Jey seemed to be an eligible candidate to win the title only to lose it on numerous instances. It seemed like the right time came for the star wrestler on the latest episode of Raw. He made the Samoan Family proud by winning the title. It might've just given the right momentum ahead of the Bloodline Civil War.
