WWE released an official promotional video for WrestleMania 42, which is set to take place in Las Vegas. The video featured Triple H, The Vision's Oracle, Paul Heyman, and some of the top WWE Superstars in the 2025 roster. While none of the matches have been confirmed for the event yet, four probable stars from the show were revealed.

CM Punk

CM Punk was probably an unexpected name to feature in the video, given that the cryptic teasers did not point to something related to his ring gear. The Voice of the Voiceless was seen sitting opposite others in the promotional video, playing poker in a typical Las Vegas fashion.

Punk has been one of the most 'over' WWE stars since his return at the Survivor Series 2023. In 2024, he missed out on Main Eventing at WrestleMania due to an injury. However, Punk Main Evented Night 1 of WrestleMania 41 against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar could be guessed from the cryptic teasers, as one of the six videos pointed at an individual wearing jeans, which turned out to be the Beast himself. The veteran made a shocking return at SummerSlam 2025 after the match between John Cena and Cody Rhodes.

After that, he attacked Cena and set up a match for Wrestlepalooza. He won it and hasn't appeared in a WWE show since then. Lesnar could well be in the title scenario at WrestleMania, where he could Main Event one of the nights. There's a possibility of him facing either Cody Rhodes or Roman Reigns.

Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes has been the world champion for most parts since 2024. The star wrestler finished his story at WrestleMania XL, where he beat the OTC to win the Undisputed WWE Championship. The American Nightmare didn't lose a one-on-one match for a year till John Cena beat him.

At SummerSlam, Cody reclaimed the title in the rematch and has been the champion since then. He is likely to headline one of the Main Events of two nights in Las Vegas, given his popularity. It is to be seen if he shows up in Las Vegas as the world champion for the second time in a row.

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns still remains the biggest WWE star who will be available for WrestleMania 42. He was promoted in the WWE teaser to headline his second consecutive WrestleMania in Las Vegas. Currently in the WWE program, he lost to Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel, his second loss in a one-on-one faceoff for over half a decade.

While Roman featured in the promo, it is to be seen who he will face in the show of all shows. At Mania 41, he was up against CM Punk and Seth Rollins in a triple-threat match. He is likely to face either Lesnar or Seth, or someone from the Vision, in one of the main events of the two nights.
