WWE released three cryptic teasers on social media on the 25th of October 2025 where a person's walking was captured. The three small teasers have led to speculations for many rebranding and returns, taking the internet by storm.These small videos have ensured a unique level of interest and curiousity from the fans regarding the wrestlers on focus.

It is worth noting that all three teasers had different types of shoes and boots worn. In the first teaser, it seemed like a proper boot, one which is usually worn by Gunther. In the second teaser, the shoe seemed like the one which Chris Jericho used to wear in WWE. In the third teaser, the shoe resmebled the one worn by Santos Escobar.

5 Superstars who could be in WWE's three cryptic teasers

Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho is rumored to make his return to WWE following the end of his current contract with AEW. While the shoes in the second teaser seemed to be the one wore by him, it is highly unlikely for him to shoot for the teaser when his current contract with AEW has not expired yet and he is still in their active roster. However, there could be an outside chance of Y2J working with WWE behind the scenes.

Austin Theory

Austin Theory suffered an injury and was removed from the active wrestlers from Raw. Grayson Waller got rid of him and has been with the New Day since then. There could be a possible rebrand for Theory, who is rumored to join The Vision as the new member. The teaser could well be to build him up for the faction, especially after Seth Rollins was attacked by Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker.

Santos Escobar

Santos Escobar reportedly left WWE, as the two parties did not extend their contract, which ended a few weeks ago. However, reports following them suggested that the two parties might have re-signed a new contract. There could be a case made for WWE trying to revive Legado Del Fantasma with Escobar being elevated as the leader of the group better than ever.

Andrade

Andrade's case has been one of its kind, as WWE removed him from the roster due to breach of some regulations. On AEW Dynamite, Andrade returned as one of the members of the Don Callis Family. WWE claimed him to have breached the Non-Compete clause to stop him from showing up on the AEW shows. Reports claim that WWE wants Andrade back and the teaser could be a hint of it.

Gunther

Gunther last wrestled CM Punk at SummerSlam where he lost his world title. The Ring General apparently underwent a nose surgery and is ready to be back in action. He is likely to return soon for a match against John Cena, which could well be the latter's retirement match. The best way to build the match would be around Gunther, who retired Goldberg earlier this year at SNME.
