3 reasons why International Crowd make Wrestling better than US Crowd (Source: X)
WWE's European Tour of 2025 started on a great note as the fans in Barcelona made Friday Night Smackdown a great viewing experience. The Road to WrestleMania, Raw, and Smackdown shows will take place in Europe for the next couple of weeks. The talking point of the night was how well the show was engaging between the fans and the wrestlers.
Another show outside the US, and the fans proved again how the International Crowd could make wrestling a better experience than the US audience. While some of the venues in the United States, like Madison Square Garden and Chicago, usually offer a great experience, Europe and other parts of the world consistently deliver a great experience with their involvement.
Be it chants, cheers, singing the song, or engaging themselves in one or the other way, wrestling outside the US seems better due to the interaction from the crowd. In the last few years, major European countries like Scotland, France, England, and Germany have hosted Raw, Smackdown, and major PLEs where the viewing experience was better than that in the United States.

3 reasons why the international crowd makes wrestling better than the US crowd:
Frequency of Shows
The USA's Stamford is the home of WWE, the biggest Wrestling company in the world. Historically, WWE has conducted more shows in the US and Canada compared to the other parts of the world. The frequency of a show in North America is more than that of the rest of the world.
Europe, Asia, and other parts of the world do not get a chance to host WWE shows regularly. While it is a norm for the US to host WWE events, it is almost a privilege for the European and the Asian countries to host WWE events. Hence, whenever they get a chance, the fans tend to enjoy the show the most.
Fan Culture
In Europe and Asia, there is a Fan Culture and rivalry between major club teams of different sports. While Football dominates in Europe, Cricket dominates in South Asia. For fans from these parts of the globe, Sports is not just a pastime but a part of their life. It is an emotion for a majority of fans.
Hence, fans tend to get emotional, excited, angry, and emote other feelings while watching Sports. The same emotion is carried on to Wrestling. The fans from Europe are used to getting involved in the Sports, so much so that they have a history of coming up with creative chants and cheers to engage themselves.
Sporting Culture
This is very similar to the Fan culture. Sports like Football and Cricket get great attention from the fans. If the favorite team of a fan claims a win, it turns out to be a festive environment in the streets. Likewise, a loss turns out to be a nightmare. A major title win can make the fans go crazy for their team.
In Asia, Cricket and everything else go hand-in-hand, which is similar to Football in Europe. Rugby is a similar phenomenon in some Commonwealth countries. Meanwhile, US fans are passionate about Sports leagues like the NBA, Superbowl, and MLS. But the same does not reflect on their enthusiasm for Wrestling shows.
