WATCH: Football prodigy Lamine Yamal enjoys WWE Smackdown in Barcelona

Lamine Yamal showed up on Friday Night Smackdown and enjoyed the show with his friends. The Football prodigy was spotted with his FC Barcelona mates in the stands, where he cheered the moves of the wrestlers. He met Cody Rhodes, Triple H, and Drew McIntyre before the show. Cody posed with the Spanish star with the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Yamal was on WWE Smackdown as the show was in Barcelona. Being the city's own, the star player visited Smackdown along with his friends. It was the first event hosted by the city in over 32 years. The crowd made it count by engaging with the wrestlers every second. Everyone in the arena could feel the energy and enthusiasm.

Lamine Yamal meets Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, and Triple H on WWE Smackdown

Before the start of the event, Lamine met some of the WWE personalities backstage on Smackdown. He got an opportunity to click photos with Triple H, Cody, and Drew. Along with Yamal, some of his teammates from FC Barcelona also showed up for the event. Together, they posed when the cameraman focused on them.

Lamine interacted with Cody as the American Nightmare handed him his title and allowed the Spanish star to have a look at it. Lamine was excited with the title and posed with Cody Rhodes. He also met Drew and Hunter backstage before the start of the show. Lamine clicked a photo separately with Drew and Hunter.

Fans were happy to see the small crossover between the Football and the Wrestling world. When WWE takes place in the USA, such crossovers usually take place between the Wrestling world and the NBA stars. For a change, there was a crossover between the Football and the Wrestling world.
