10 WWE athletes who were removed for unusual reasons

WWE is one the famous sports which is watched all around the globe. So far WWE has seen various superstars getting love from the fans. However, to survival in this company is very hard as many wrestlers face ups and downs. Sometimes WWE has also removed superstars for their bad behaviour.

Hence, we take 10 WWE athletes who were removed for unusual reasons:

1. Dasha Fuentes

Dasha Fuentes who is interviewer at the backstage and WWE ring announcer was suddenly released from WWE in 2019. His reason for removal is yet undisclosed. It’s a reminder for non-wrestlers that the wrestling business has an unpredicted nature.

2. Konnan 

In 1992 Konnan joined WWE as Max Moon. But after a few months, he was fired from WWE. The reason was alleged insubordination. The removal of Konnan is still a puzzle in WWE history. He was a great wrestler and fans were left without knowing his full potential in the ring.

3. Buff Bagwell

WCW veteran Buff Bagwell had a good time in 2001 WWE. After his first televised game against Booker T, he was fired. Later Buff Bagwell stated that he thought that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It is a lesson for others about how first impressions can last.

4. Emma

Tenille Dashwood aka Emma had a promising career in WWE. But in 2017 an incident happened that changed her life. In 2017 he was involved in a shoplifting arrest as he mistakenly did not pay the iPad case. WWE had a zero-tolerance policy for this behaviour and had to release her. But her talent was unmatchable and she returned to the WWE company.

5. Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan is the most loved star in WWE. In 2010 he was fired as he choked Justin Roberts who was a ring announcer during the scripted segment. This incident was for entertainment purposes but Daniel Bryan got fired. Later he made a comeback and became one of the most loved WWE superstars.

6. Dawn Marie

Dawn Marie was fired in 2005 which became a big storyline. She had a real-life pregnancy but has per rumours her baby was of Torrie Wilson. The situation got even worse and Dawn Marie was released. This is a lesson that WWE looks at between controversy and entertainment.

7. Paul London

Paul London was a superstar in WWE. He was known for his stunts in the WWE ring. In 2008 he was fired from WWE because of he was laughing during the scripted promo of Vince McMahon. It was seen that WWE is so strict that a small mistake from the script can lead to major consequences and yet again it proves that WWE is unpredictable.

8. Serena Deeb

In WWE’s Divas division, Serena Deeb was one of the talented wrestlers who made a big impact. In 2010 she was removed from WWE because of her in-ring skills. To get headlines she shaved her head. Later a statement came and she was back as a consulting WWE official. Hence this proves that WWE has strict guidelines for female performers.

9. Matt Hardy 

One of the great members of Hardy Boyz Matt Hardy faces trouble with WWE during his stint. In 2010 he was fired due to he was linked with some bad behaviour in a series of bizarre YouTube videos. Years later Matt Hardy made a comeback to WWE. This proves WWE is willing to forgive and forget their wrestlers. 

10. Enzo Amore

Enzo Amore's WWE career was held along with controversial. He was famous for his fast-talks in promo and charisma. Although his career was ended in 2018. He was fired because he was involved in various backstage problems and had sexual assault allegations against him. His removal left many stunned WWE fans as he was a rising star in WWE.
