Meanwhile, in the first set battle between Berrettini and Marton Fucsovics, neither played conceded any ground on serve, resulting in a tie-break. Berrettini held his nerve to clinch the set 7-6 (3). He also won the second set 6-2, but the former Wimbledon quarterfinalist kept himself in the race by winning the third set 3-6. However, the Italian dominated the fourth set to register a 6-1 win.

Predictions
Barrettini, a former runner-up at Wimbledon, is expected to pose a huge challenge for the top seed Sinner. But considering the current form, the Italian is expected to come out with flying colours in the upcoming clash. Sinner is coming on the back of winning his maiden career title on grass at the Terra Wortmann Open in Halle a couple of weeks ago. He has had the best season of his career so far and hopes to continue his good form at Wimbledon as well.
